Hi.

Before I go on … no … I am not writing this blog post because someone is blaming me for doing (or not doing) something. I’m writing this post because I just received an email from a person who was so busy complaining about how their past sponsors didn’t make them money fast enough, etc. etc. that I just had to get this off my chest :-) If you are an Internet Marketer I’m sure you’ve heard it before. If you haven’t, well, work enough businesses online and you will hear it sooner or later.

To those who join things and then blame their sponsor (or team) because they don’t make enough money:

As with anything you are working online, a “team” plays only a very small part of creating your income. Most of your income comes from “you” working hard and building your business (it’s the same with all of us). A team can work together, but that means “together”, which includes “you” working :-) Right?

When I join something I simply advertise it and build my income. If you have seen many of the opportunities I get involved with, you’ve probably noticed that they are fairly automated (good recruiting systems – pages that sell for you – lead capture systems). If my income is not building fast enough to suit me then I find more and more places to advertise. I don’t blame the person who happened to send me the ad on it (they were just advertising the opportunity or program). And I don’t blame the company itself.

If I am not getting enough signups, who should I blame? Me! It means “I” need to collect more places to advertise; It means “I” need to learn how to market a product or business effectively; It means “I” need to work harder.

If you want to use some of the same places I advertise, you can view many of them at my main website: http://www.paulafrye.com

Here is an excellent automated business:

Essante – Power Pop Diet & organic products goes MLM. Our team gets 2 excellent team building systems to use for free. The two systems you’ll get are:
http://greenwealthbuilders.com/fryeteam and http://powerpopdiet.com/thefryeteam – They do an excellent job of building your business with you.

Hi.

This post has been a long time coming. I have been discouraged again and again to open an email from someone only to find the person asking if they actually have to “promote”, “recruit”, or “advertise” a certain business in order to make a good living with it.

What??? Everytime I see a note come through like that, I really have to wonder what in the world is going on in our day that people would even ask such a thing. Why would anyone think they could actually make a living while doing nothing but joining something? — Unless, of course, it’s simply an investment opportunity. Then I can understand.

I am not making this post in order to make anyone mad … so please don’t mistake what I am saying. :-) My intent with this post is to attempt to shed some light on what I see as a really bad trend in the online business world. I don’t want to call it laziness, because I know many of those who ask me this are working fulltime jobs. They are anything but lazy. But I do want to call it misinformation.

Is this worldwide trend the fault of the business opportunities? Or of the people? Or of our society? Or all three?

I tend to lean toward all of the above being at fault. Let me explain why I feel this way.

#1 — Our society — From what I have been seeing lately, everything tends to be leaning toward socialism (if it isn’t already there). Everyone who works hard and makes more money is made out to be the “trouble causer”. Those who don’t make as much money (no matter what the reason) are made out to be the “victims”. This mindset kills peoples’ desire to work — especially when our government starts taking money from those who do succeed because of their hard work (over taxing them) and gives that money to those who haven’t yet succeeded in making more money. I will let the cat out of the bag here. I’m definitely for a straight tax. If you make more money you should pay more (the same percentage as everyone else — just more because you are paying that percent on “more” money). If you make less you would be paying that same percent on “less” money, in turn paying less. That would be fair, and it also would stop making people think they are a “victim” all of the time. Feeling one is a “victim” just makes one feel they are owed something from others instead of going out and getting things themselves.

#2 — The people — Because of #1 above, many people feel they are “owed” something instead of wanting to “work hard” for something. Look at the difference between years ago (let’s say in the early 1900s) and now. Back then people worked extremely hard. Even in the Great Depression they worked hard — many times working all day long just to feed their families. Can you imagine people doing that today? I sure can’t, and I feel that is a horrible thing. We should all have a great desire to work hard in order to make a living. Hard work builds character. It helps keep us healthy and happy. It gives us a sense of accomplishment. Expecting others to give us things only brings pain and sorrow. There is nothing worthwhile in that.
If you don’t want to think about that far back, think about just a little while back — before the Internet was everywhere. Even in the 1980’s people who wanted to work for themselves would go door to door selling beauty products, cleaning products, etc. They worked hard at it. I even did some of that myself. No one expected to join that beauty company and get paid for sitting at home watching soap operas while other people made them money — even in the businesses that were mlm’s. Everyone still knew there was work involved. They expected to go out and get sales in order to make money. Getting those sales often included hours and hours of work. Some succeeded, some didn’t. But no one expected they wouldn’t have to work. That is a new trend and one that is deeply hurting the online business industry..

#3 — The business opportunities — Because of #1 and #2 above, most business opportunities of today are doing everything they can to offer something for no work — often giving $5 or $10 from an upline to everyone so that they can advertise “no recruiting neccessary to make money here!” That way they can attract those who do not want to ever put in any effort but instead want money handed to them. I hate to say it, but a large majority of people seem to be this way nowadays. In order for a company to make it they have to offer some sort of “spillover”, “forced matrix” or anything that takes no work for someone to make a little cash — even if all that person ends up making is $5 or $10. The sad thing is that spillover is never going to create an entire income. Spillover is only going to “help” one make an income. Most of the work will still need to be done by the person who joins. There is still advertising involved. There is still recruiting involved. That’s just how it is.

So what should be done about it?

Well, I think educating people is the first thing that’s going to have to happen. You are reading this, and if you once thought you would make a full-time income simply by joining something with spillover, hopefully you now realize that isn’t likely to happen. If you are someone who already knows this, then please explain it to those you come in contact with — on your blog, etc. I would like nothing more than to be able to pull in my mail in the morning and not have those notes saying “Do I have to recruit in this to make money?” or “How much will I make from your spillover?”. I would much rather receive notes like, “I’m ready to work. Any suggestions on where I can send some ads?”

I will be the first to admit that I do like the opportunities that offer some sort of spillover potential. Why? Because I know that is what everyone wants. But I also know that even with the spillover there is work involved — there is recruiting — there is advertising. Working online really does include “work”. Why would it be called “working online” or “working from home” if it didn’t? :-)

What is the solution? If you don’t already know how to … learn to advertise. Learn how to join things and send ads through them. Learn how to put up a blog. Learn how to advertise on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/paulafrye, Facebook http://www.facebook.com/pjayefrye, Breezy Buzz http://breezybuzz.com/?aff=22052, etc.

Here is a business opportunity and advertising source that everyone can make money with. I know, because they have already paid me thousands. http://extremecashrobot.com/id/fryeteam

Remember … work hard and you will go far. The only way to fail is to give up. Don’t ever do that! If I can make money online anyone can (and I really mean that).

Take care,
Paula

Hi.

Harsh words, I know :-) But it was harsh words like that that caused me to wake up and start building my own list. YOU need to start building yours, too … or (if you already have one) get serious about building it bigger FASTER. The more people you get on your list the more sales you will make. That’s simply how it works.

I’d love to tell you that all you need to do is join an autoresponder service, sit back, relax, and eat bon bons all day long. That would be an outright lie, so I won’t say that. I won’t even hint at it, so you just get that notion right out of your head. Besides, bon bons are fattening :-) I will tell you, however, that building your own list is not difficult at all. Anyone can do it (Yes, I really meant to say “anyone). I mean, come on. “I” did it, didn’t I? If I can do it, you certainly can do it.

Okay … first step. Select from one of the 2 best autoresponder services. They both work well. Why am I telling you to start with one of the 2 best? Because they actually work and will be around for years to come. You sure don’t want to spend time and effort building a list only to have the company shut down on you. Then where would you be? The way I see it, you have 2 choices: Aweber or Getresponse.

Now, you need training. These autoresponder places will give you “some”, but you need hands-on serious training from someone who truly knows how to build a big list — someone who makes a living from Internet Marketing. I recommend one person for this, and his name is Ewen Chia (you’ve probably heard of him). He will tell you “exactly” what to do — step by step. I have learned a lot from him already and plan on learning a lot more from him in years to come.

Ewen will share with you how to build a 200,198 member list — and fast!

This is the first time he has revealed how he built his list so fast.

Ewen’s list is so responsive that he has made 816 sales from one email to his list before! $30,619.36 in commissions simply from pushing the “send” button!

The money is truly in the list.

To you that means … The money is in YOUR list!

Ewen will share with you exactly how he built his list to 200,198 members.
These are highly targeted members, too — not junky leads! With a list that big
you will be able to make an income online — working from home instead
of away from home all day.

There is nothing hard about doing this, either! It’s a matter of just following his
step-by-step instructions. That’s it. You can do this!

You owe it to yourself to learn the secrets!

Click here to get started building your list with Ewen today.

Take care,
Paula

Hi.

I’m always getting emails from people asking me what my main advertising secret is. When people ask that, my first thought is that they are probably looking for an easy one-click way to get sales. You know … join one advertising source, send out an ad, and … wa-la … get all the sales you need to make a full-time income.

I REALLY wish it were that easy. If I could do that day in and day out,  I’d be vacationing somewhere instead of working everyday.

So here is my #1 secret — consistency.  I know … that’s not very exciting, but it’s true. You don’t want me to lie to you, do you? The main way I get new signups is simply to send out my ads every single day. That plus I am constantly joining new advertising sources to add to my collection.  By advertising consistently people start to recognize my name. They see my ads all over the place and start to pay attention.

Consistency will make you sales. It will build your name. It will create a full-time income for you in time.

Does it take work? Yes. But there is nothing wrong with work. We all work doing something. I just prefer to put in my hours at home. I like being my own boss.

Here is a new advertising source that is bringing me sales. It’s a very good one. It will also help you to build a list, which is extremely important. You need a list. You need advertising. So join this — think about joining at the highest level.  You can send to their entire member base (100% automated) twice daily. Click Here.

So there. You know my secret now … if you can call it a secret :-) I collect advertising sources and send to them consistently. You can do that, too.

Take care,

Paula

Hi.

I know … you’re sick of hearing it! lol Well, I’m going to say it anyway, because you NEED to hear it. More than that, you need to DO SOMETHING about it! Don’t get mad at me. Just hear me out :-)

Okay, here goes … “The Money is in the List”. There. I said it. Don’t hate me for it.

And it’s really true! I worked online for years before realizing just how true that statement was. You don’t have to be as slow as I was. You can do something about it now.

Your own contact list really is (and always will be) the very best means of advertising that you have. The people on it will be extremely targeted. They will actually “want” to see what you have to say. That is why (if you don’t already have a contact list) that you have to start building it NOW!

And don’t expect it to happen overnight. Just let it build little by little. You’ll be surprised how many people you can have on it in a year or so if you just keep at it.

Okay, now that I’ve told you how important I feel a list is, now I’ll tell you one of the BEST ways I’ve found so far to help me to build my list.

I am a member of the Dream Lifestyle System (DLS), one of the biggest money-makers available today. It pays nice commissions ($200 a pop) and pays a huge percentage of what people pay to join (it costs $249 one-time). It pays you instantly — no waiting at all. Right there is enough reason to join. But, let me take this one step further.

The Dream Lifestyle System will build your list! It really will. I love that aspect of it. I have added a lot of people to my contact list since joining it (no joke).

Here’s how it builds for you. You join Aweber, one of the most respected contact list builders around (Click here to join Aweber). Now, join the Dream Lifestyle System by clicking here.

Once you have joined both of those, simply send your information to the Dream Lifestyle System setup team and let them go to work “for you” setting up your Dream Lifestyle page and even completely setting up your Aweber account “for you”. They do all of the setup. I didn’t do a thing — yet I’m building my contact list daily.

Now, everytime you send someone to your DLS page (or if the company sends someone to it) you will have a new signup to your Aweber list. It’s that easy. Those people will receive notes about DLS regularly, urging them to join. It does all of the selling “for you”.

Okay, now let’s take this one step further. Once your list starts building at Aweber, YOU start advertising to it. Sign into your Aweber account once a day and send a broadcast to your DLS list. It’s that easy. Advertise anything you want. These people are already looking to make money online. They are the best type of leads you’ll ever find. And remember … it only takes “one” person to equal a sale. Even a very small contact list can start making money for you.

No matter HOW you go about making a list, you need to start doing it today. Don’t put it off. I can’t state enough just how important list building is to me. It’s the #1 most important thing I do online.

I know how important building a list is now, and I hope you do, too.

Take care,
Paula

01  Aug
It’s a Scam!

Hi.

It’s a SCAM! … Or … is it? :-)

Do you ever find yourself saying “It’s a scam” about something you joined but didn’t make money with? Do you ever hear “others” say it? I sure do. I see it all the time. I see people say it on forums. I see people say it in ads. I see people say it on the “scam warning” websites. I see people say it in emails. So … just because I see it said a lot … does that make it “true”?

This is probably one of the most-seen statements on the Internet today … The term, “It’s a Scam!” is thrown around constantly. It is said about just about every money-making opportunity that is out there.

I never paid much attention to the statement (I mean, it’s said about “everything” so why give it a second thought, right?) but then I saw it stated about something I was actually making good money with. Now THAT got my attention. At that point I had to read and see what was being said, because I knew firsthand that the opportunity “wasn’t” a scam.

It didn’t take me long to come to my conclusion … When some people join a money-making opportunity but “don’t” make money (or not enough money to suit them) they call the opportunity a scam and quit. Have you ever done that or seen someone else do it?

First, let’s look at what “work online” or “make money online” actually means. Well, one thing it means is to “work”. Hense the terms, “WORK online” or “WORK at home”. I think everyone would agree that “work online” includes the word “work” … right? Okay, now that we have established the obvious, let’s look at what needs to happen in order to make a decent income online. … You guess it … WORK needs to happen! :-) We need to “work” in order to collect our paychecks, Alertpay commissions, Paypal commissions, etc. Without the “work”, we might make a bit here and there, but it will never add up to a full-time income that continues month after month. Any “dependable” income is going to come from our own work.

Now, let’s establish what that “work” could be. Work can be spending time sending ads to everything we belong to. Work can be signing up to advertising sources that allow us to send ads through them. Work can be buying ads that we know bring results. Work can be writing our pre-enrollees encouraging them to upgrade. There are a lot of things we can do in order to make an opportunity work for us. Just because it’s not hard physical labor doesn’t mean it’s not “work”.

The most important work you can do for ANY opportunity

ADVERTISE! That’s #1. No matter what opportunity you join, advertising is always the key to making it work. If you advertise enough you can sell anything that is worthwhile. You can build nice-sized downlines in multiple opportunities; You can make multiple commissions daily; You can even build your contact list while advertising. Spend your time focusing on “advertising” and you simply cannot go wrong! I mean that. The more you advertise the more sales you’ll make. It’s really that simple. If you show your opportunity consistently to enough people the sales WILL come in!

I don’t care if the opportunity offers a chance of “spillover”. I don’t care if it offers a chance of “money for doing nothing” … you STILL have to advertise. Even though you can make “some” money by doing nothing it will not make you a full-time income. That is something you have to build yourself.

You can see some ways I advertise at http://www.paulafrye.com My days are focused on advertising. I view it as my “job”. It works for me, so it will also work for you.

Here are some opportunities that work great and pay great. I’m getting a good response
to these even when I advertise through free sources:

Dream LifeStyle System – click here – costs $249 one-time and pays you $200 over and over again. I have made $1000s with this. It’s truly amazing.

Ultimate Wealth Formula X – click here – pays you $100 commissions every 14 days. This built me a good income in just a few weeks. It’s super fast. Even free ads work great for getting signups for this. Also amazing.

nPro – click here – pays 40% fast start bonuses (weekly) and very nice monthly commissions. Comes with a free paid downline so you are on your way to making money fast.

Lotto Magic – click here – pays you 50% commissions for every single person you bring in. This can really add up fast since your monthly commissions are $25 – $50 for everyone under you. Another amazing opportunity. They pay monthly by check or straight to your bank.

Now, after reading this I hope that the next time you see the words “It’s a Scam!” screamed out that you will think twice before believing it. Sure, there is the “occasional” scam (like the surf for cash Ponzi schemes, etc., that you see everywhere these days) but most things aren’t a scam.

A quick note about the Ponzi schemes … Don’t waste time with them. They are a huge risk and when they get big enough the FBI comes in and shuts them down. I’ve seen it happen over and over. Even if they state that they “aren’t” ponzi’s, they still are. You don’t want “your” money caught in there when the FBI confiscates everything. It’s simply not worth it, and it sure isn’t an income you can ever depend on. In the end they will be closed because they are illegal.

So get out there and make sure your websites (affiliate links, etc.) are seen today! Remember … the more you advertise (even to free places) the more sales you will make. Since “more sales” means “more money” you’ll be on your way to a really nice income.

Take care,
Paula

Hi.

Okay, I can guess what’s going through your mind right now if you find it difficult to get sales … “Me? A HEAVY-HITTER? Yeah, right!”

I know this term has been thrown around a lot (oftentimes even derogatory in nature) but please hear me out on this one. You CAN become a heavy-hitter! And you can do it FAST!

First, let’s look at what the term actually means. A heavy-hitter is nothing more than someone who can get a lot of visitors to their website, their affiliate link, etc. Since more visitors equals more sales (obviously) they will be able to get sales for anything worthwhile that they are in.

Now, how does this relate to “you”? It relates because all “you” have to do to become one of the heavy-hitters is … guess what? Get more visitors to your websites! That’s really all you need to do. Nothing more :-) I am not saying that this won’t take work on your part. Of course it will, just like it took work for anyone to become a heavy-hitter.

Now that we’ve seen what the term “heavy-hitter” actually means, let’s figure out a few things you can do right now to actually start down the road to becoming one.

*** Get Free Solo Ads Instantly. You’ve probably heard of ad exchanges before. They usually give you free contact solo ads in order to get you as a member. You can do a search for “free ad exchange” and locate some to join. Or (if you want to make it much easier on yourself) you can join Xchange Xclusives: Click Here and join many at once and get free contact solo ads instantly. Now that you have joined many of the exchanges store them in your bookmarks (in their own folder) and go down the list sending your ad to each of them. When you run out of solo ads buy more when they offer a good deal. Another thing you can do is adopt some safelists that already have members on them. I have information on that at my website http://www.paulafrye.com.

*** Learn What to Do From Someone Who Knows. If you are really serious about becoming successful online then you should join Ultimate Wealth FormulaX (UWFx) — Click Here . It will pay you $100 commissions (instantly) every 14 days PLUS the owner, Max Stiegemeier, will teach you EXACTLY how to get sales easily. His teachings are easy to understand and to the point. He knows how to get sales, and he’s willing to teach you exactly how to do it. I have no doubt that anyone can do well under his guidance. When you can mix quality training with a great money-maker you can build your income extremely fast.

*** Be Consistent With Your Advertising. Send to everything you can every single day if it allows it. Don’t be afraid of being seen “too much”. There is no such thing. If you are a member of a safelist that allows a daily send … send it! Even if just one person sees your ad that one person could be a sale. I don’t care if it takes you 2-3 hours to go through everything you can send to, do it. You would work all day long at a job you hate. What is 2-3 hours working at home — for yourself? If you would like to send to many safelists at once (many more than once daily) then I highly recommend this safelist submitter: Pearls of Wealth — Click Here

*** Build Your List. You’ve heard (I’m sure) that the money’s in the list. Well, it is! They were right! :-) Start building your list today if you haven’t already. One way I’ve been building my list is with the Dream Lifestyle System — Click Here. As a member they set me up completely with an Aweber account to collect leads from everyone who visits my page. The Dream Lifestyle System does cost $249 to become a member, but it also pays you $200 per sale instantly. It’s a great investment. I’ve made $1000s with it already plus I’m adding people to my contact list daily. Not only do their autoresponder messages sell to everyone who’s visited my website, but I also send an “additional” ad daily to everyone on my list. If you don’t want to join something like Dream Lifestyle System right now you can start building your list anyway at one of the 2 best autoresponders: Get Response or Aweber.

*** Advertise More Than One Thing in Your Ads. When I write up an ad I always put a small blip ad at the top of something that sells extremely well. For instance, if I’m sending an ad out about Ultimate Wealth FormulaX I’ll put something like Marketer Pro at the top — http://www.thescriptstore.com/marketerpro. The reason I do that is because UWFx may not bring in a sale right away. But someone might want Marketer Pro, so I made a sale anyway. Sometimes I even put something else “under” my main ad. If my main ad is a money-maker, I try to make my small “extra ads” advertising or something else that doesn’t compete too much. If my main ad is advertising I try to put money-makers as my additional small ads. This has worked out quite well for me. It’s nice having extra Paypal or Alertpay money for if I want to buy a small ad or even go out for a latte :-)

Now, go and become a heavy-hitter. But don’t give me TOO much competition out there! lol

You can do it! Work hard, love what you do, and don’t give up!

If I can make a full-time income online ANYONE can! I really mean that. You CAN build a nice income working at home — for yourself — instead of working for someone else. When you work for yourself there’s no worry of layoffs, work clothes, childcare daycare problems or anything like that. You are the boss, and what you say goes!

Take care,
Paula

Hi.

You’re probably thinking … “Who wouldn’t like BIG commissions.” — Right? lol

Well, aside from the obvious, let me tell you exactly “why” I like them … and even more importantly, which type of big commissions I like (yes, there are more than one).

#1 — High-Percentage Commissions — Let me give you a couple of examples. a) The Dream Lifestyle System – http://www.dreamlifestylesystem.net/fryeteam/capture.html – costs a one-time $249 to join. Everytime I sell one I pocket $200. b) Little Ticket to Wealth – http://www.megablasts.com/ticket – costs a one-time $100 to join plus a monthly $10 admin fee. I pocket $100 cash every single time I get a sale. Both of these opportunities are extremely good investments. Buy them once … sell them forever. And instead of getting 10%, 20%, 30%, etc. you are making a high-percentage commission. That is a huge selling point and helps me pull in sales day after day.

#2 — Worth My Time Advertising — That is very important to me. While I do sell many things that are less expensive, I like to focus on products/opportunities that have a bigger chance of making my advertising worthwhile. Let’s say I’m going to spend $15 for a contact solo ad. Since both of those above pay me a good-sized commission I am pretty much guaranteed to get results. If I don’t pull in a sale instantly from that $15 ad, I still could later on since both opportunities are also building my contact list at the same time (and selling to my prospects behind the scenes). If you viewed either link above chances are that you put in your information. Selling products like these can be a great way to build a highly-targeted contact list. People who put in their information are already interested in making money online. If they weren’t, they wouldn’t be there in the first place :-)

#3 — Gets Your Ads Opened – You’d be surprised how many people will open an ad with the subject “FAST $200 Commissions” or “$100 Cash Paid to You INSTANTLY“. I’ve tracked them. Subjects like that get read. They get clicked. They get sales.

I’m sold on big commissions. I love pulling in my mail and seeing that another $200 or $100 came in. And if the products are as good as the two I listed above, you can be sure you’ll also see those $200 and $100 notices come in :-)

So the next time you see an ad come through that mentions a big commission, really take a good look at it and answer these questions: 1) Does it pay a big percentage of the cost? 2) Does it pay you fast? 3) Does it pay you for every single sale? 4) Does the product included sound really interesting? 5) Does the page urge you to buy and look professional? If you can answer all 5 with a yes, I’d say you’ve definitely found a good investment. Join it and advertise it. If it interested you it will certainly interest others.

Take care,
Paula

Hi.

If you have been making money online (or trying to) for any length of time, I’m sure you have seen ads for various prelaunches. If you haven’t seen anything like that, let me explain what it is.

A prelaunch is when an opportunity or product is going to be released, and it is announced ahead of time. This can be a good thing, but it can also be a bad thing.

Personally, I “really” dislike them. I have gotten involved in them before, but it usually turned out to be a disaster. Let me tell you how I see it. Please don’t be angry at me for my opinion if you like prelaunches :-)

My reasons for disliking them:

#1 — They stop people from buying! I have seen this happen again and again. My sales and signups are going along fine. Then I announce that a company is launching (whenever) and my sales slow down to a mere trickle. Why? Because my buyers are obviously waiting for the new opportunity or product. They need to make sure they have the money to join it once it gets here. Even those who “aren’t sure’ they are joining the prelaunched opportunity hold onto their money just in case :-)

#2 — They are often boring (yawn) by the time they launch due to all of the prelaunch hype. What causes most people to open their wallets and pay for an opportunity? Excitement (hype), of course! If you aren’t excited about something, chances are you aren’t going to get involved. Launches can be very exciting, but prelaunches actually take away from that. By the time people can actually pay to join (after delayed launches, website trouble, etc.) many people are just sick of hearing about it. I know I sure am!

#3 — They can cause even the most respected marketers to look silly. I’ve seen it over and over. Something is going to launch and supposedly make everyone a fortune from spillover, spillunder, etc. It’s advertised all over the place by all of the marketers. Then the launch is delayed. Then it’s delayed again. And again. After a few of these delays the excitement is totally destroyed. The people stop listening. I know I have by this time, and if I’m advertising the prelaunch I’m downright embarassed. When I see “prelaunch” advertised anymore I am simply not interested. Sure, I may end up joining the opportunity on launch day (that’s when I make the most money), but I’m sure not going to go around advertising the prelaunch. There is just too much chance of it going wrong. It’s not worth the risk to me.

Now, on a positive note, I LOVE launches! I have made $1000s from them and will always love them. There is nothing more exciting about working online than launch day! You will make most of your money from an opportunity on that day or close to it. Why? Because no one is in it yet :-) You have every single person on the Internet to advertise to. The sky’s the limit! Plus you have the biggest chance of getting spillover closest to the launch.

How I now do launches (not prelaunches):

#1 — I make sure I’m on peoples’ contact lists so that I am always notified when they find a new opportunity or product. I actually “want” to be on your contact list. So if you have one please get in touch with me and make sure I’m on it. That’s one of the most important things I do online — stay informed of the newest and hottest opportunities and products. Without that knowledge I simply couldn’t make a decent income online :-)

#2 — If I do see a prelaunch advertised I keep the note and try to be prepared for the launch. I won’t be advertising the prelaunches anymore (I’m done with that — unless I personally know the company) but I will get ads ready, etc. so that once it does launch I can start getting the word out immediately. I know that time is crucial on launch day, so I want to be ready.

Now, if you want to make sure you know what opportunities I join please make sure you are on my contact list. You can do that by subscribing to my blog updates (link is above or at the bottom of this post). I always announce any new thing I’m in to my contact list first. Make sure to use an email address that does not block any ads. You’ll want to make sure you are able to know when things launch. Also check my Twitter page (link is above).

Again, to those who love prelaunches … please don’t be mad at me for stating why I dislike them :-) I’m only voicing my opinion here — not trying to step on anyone’s toes.

I can’t wait for the next big launch! So if you ever hear of anything big on the horizon, please write and let me know! I sure wouldn’t want to miss it!

Take care,
Paula

Hi.

I’ve been seeing things written lately (on social network sites, blogs, and elsewhere) on why one needs to be “extremely professional” (implying excellent copywriting skills, fancy website, etc.) in order to make it in any online business — whether it be MLM, direct sales, or other. At first that may sound right, but after thinking about it for awhile, I’ve come to the conclusion that that statement isn’t really all that “true” :-)

You see, professionalism can be viewed in different ways by different types of people. Let’s say, for instance, that you are a total newbie when it comes to making money online. You’ve never been in an MLM before, and, in fact, you aren’t even sure what the initials MLM stand for — or why you should ever consider joining one. You have a question (just a little one) but you don’t know who to ask. You do a quick search on Google and one of the first pages to come up is “Internet Guru Mr. Smith’s” website or blog. His website is gorgeous, obviously designed professionally by one of the best Internet Designers available. It’s obvious he’s spent a great deal of money on his fancy website. When you search for him on the social media sites you come to pages that are all beautifully designed — with fancy graphics and a layout that would cause even a graphic designer to ooooh and awwww. Do you write Internet Guru Mr. Smith and ask him your question? Or do you simply move on to the next website listed in your Google search?

I can tell you what “I” would do. I would go on. Why? Because I would be pretty sure that “Internet Guru Mr. Smith” doesn’t really have the time (or the inclination) to write me back. Why did I come to that assumption? Mainly because his page was so extremely professional that he came across more like a “corporation” than as a “person”. That’s why. With his over-fanciness and over-professionalism he’s coming across as a machine instead of someone others can relate to.

I’ve had people write me about my various websites before and ask if they could design them for me for free (to make them better). My answer is always, “Thanks, but no thanks”. While I do appreciate the kind gesture, I don’t ever want to come across as “too” professional. That would cause me to lose everything that I love about working online.

I love just being myself and learning as I go. I love playing with PhotoShop and putting up website header graphics that would cause the famous Gurus to cringe. lol. I love chatting at the social networks (like Twitter, YouTube, etc.) and not worrying what people think about me. I love that I’m still learning and still “teachable”. I seriously doubt I’ll ever know even close to everything about working online. In fact, I can tell you “for sure” that I know next to nothing about search engine optimization, blog optimization, etc. All I know is that it’s smart to get listed in the search engines and that it’s fun to post on my blog (like I’m doing now)! lol

So there. That’s my take on “over-professionalism”. I’ll probably never be a real professional, and I really don’t ever want to be. I’m just plain ole’ Paula Frye, the West Virginia girl who moved to Ohio back in 1978 :-)

If you have a question about something, write! My email address is under the “about Paula Frye” tab. There are times that I miss an email or two because of all the ads I get in my inbox, but I’d never not write back “on purpose”. I don’t have all the answers, but I can sure tell you what works for me.

I am making a full-time income online, and you can see what types of opportunities are making me money at http://www.paulafrye.com. I don’t have any fancy teachings written up, but I have figured out a thing or two about what types of opportunities bring me the best (and quickest) results.

So the next time you think you “can’t” do something because you’re just a newbie, remember that everyone was new once. Every single person who works online! Even “Internet Guru Mr. Smith”. You “can” do great things — Just always be yourself and don’t ever become “too professional” to enjoy the little things about working online. :-)

Take care,
Paula
